Delhi Court Grants Bail To CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke After Detention Ahead Of ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ Protest

A Delhi court on Saturday granted bail to Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, with his legal team confirming the development. The order was passed by a court of the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM).

The court has imposed certain conditions for Dipke’s release, the details of which are awaited.

Dipke and All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora were detained by Delhi Police on October 16 ahead of the ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest at Connaught Place. Dipke was detained near his residence while heading to the protest, while Bora was picked up as she marched from Mandi House.

Meanwhile, CJP activists Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka remain in judicial custody after they allegedly attempted to enter the Jantar Mantar area.
