Rajasthan Govt. appoints 7 AAG for the State

In a recent development, the Bhajanlal Sharma Government has made appointments of 7 Addl. Advocate Generals in the State of Rajasthan. Recently Sr. Advocate Rajendra Prasad was appointed as the Advocate General. After the appointment of AG, additional advocates general were appointed. The state government appointed a total of 7 additional advocates general.

Principal Bench of High Court, Jodhpur has got 2 additional Advocates General. Appointment orders of 5 additional Advocates General for High Court Bench Jaipur.

Among these, Dr Praveen Khandelwal and Banshilal Bhati were appointed for Jodhpur and Bharat Vyas, Gurcharan Singh Gill, Bhuvnesh Sharma for Jaipur. Basant Singh Chhaba and Surendra Singh Naruka are also appointed AAG.

However, the Government has not appointed any AAG in the Supreme Court of India.

The Government has released all the 18 existing AAG since they have resigned after the change of power in the State. The AAG who have been released are Major RP Singh, Sh. Vibhutibhushan Sharma, Sh. Anil Mehta, Sh. Rajesh Maharshi, Ms. Sheetal Mirdha, Sh. Rajendra Soni, Sh. Nasir Ali Naqvi, Sh. Styendra Singh Raghav, Sh. Chiranji Lal Saini, Sh. Ganesh Parihar, Sh. Sandeep Shah, Sh. Sunil Beniwal, Sh. Pankaj Sharma, Sh. Karan Singh Rajpurohit, Sh. Sudhir Tak, Sh. Manish Vyas, Sh. Anil Kumar Gaur and Sh. Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqi.
