3 young lawyers suddenly confronted CJI DY Chandrachud in Supreme Court corridor, Chief Justice asked questions

Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud often encourages young lawyers. Feedback is also taken from them. One such incident happened in the Supreme Court on 3 February. CJI DY Chandrachud was leaving with Singapore Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon after finishing his court work. Suddenly he met three young lawyers in the corridor. The CJI stopped there and started talking to the young lawyers and took feedback about the new facility started in the Supreme Court.

On Friday the court was over and the courtroom was almost empty, three young lawyers were walking out of the corridor of the Supreme Court. Suddenly he was stopped by the security staff of the court and asked to wait. Before they could question why they were stopped? CJI Dr. DY Chandrachud was seen coming from the same corridor. He was accompanied by the Chief Justice of Singapore and several other guests. When Chief Justice Chandrachud caught sight of the young lawyers, he stopped there.

Young lawyers greeted the CJI. After this the CJI asked whether you are using the online SCR service? One of the three young lawyers was taken aback by the CJI's sudden question and replied yes…we are using this service and it is a very good initiative.

On this, CJI DY Chandrachud said that he was discussing this with his guests a while ago and wanted to know first hand opinion of the lawyers whether this facility is working properly or not? The CJI (CJI DY Chandrachud) asked the names of the three lawyers and went ahead with his guests smiling.
