All Supreme Court Judges to Visit Ranthambore on a Private Trip this weekend

Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai, along with all the judges of the Supreme Court and their families, are going on a three-day private trip to Ranthambore. The visit started on Friday and will continue till Sunday.

Although it is called a private tour, many believe that the judges may also use this time to discuss important matters related to the judiciary while being away from Delhi. This is the first time that all Supreme Court judges are going together on such a trip to Ranthambore.

Although no official statement has been issued by the Supreme Court, the Rajasthan High Court, or the State Government about this trip, the preparations in Ranthambore clearly show the importance of the visit. The High Court management and the State Government have been actively involved, with the district administration working round the clock to make arrangements. Security has also been tightened across the town and around the Ranthambore area to ensure smooth conduct of the event.

The credit of this trip is given to the present Chief Justice of India CJI BR Gavai.

Why Ranthambore?

Ranthambore in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan is famous for its tiger reserve, wildlife, and the historic Ranthambore Fort. It is a popular destination for nature lovers and tourists.

For the judges, this trip may be both a holiday with family and a chance to informally share views on judicial matters in a relaxed environment.
