The Central Government on Tuesday approved the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court.

The judicial officers appointed as judges are Santosh Sharma, Sushma Sawant and Sudhir Kumar.

The development was announced by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal through a post on X.

The appointments were made following the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium, which cleared their names on August 18.
