Today, the Central government notified the appointment of three judicial officers—Shail Jain, Madhu Jain, and Vinod Kumar—as judges of the Delhi High Court.
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal announced the development on X.
The appointments follow the recommendation made earlier this month by the Supreme Court Collegium, headed by Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and comprising Justices Surya Kant and Vikram Nath.
With these additions, the working strength of the Delhi High Court has increased to 43 judges, against a sanctioned strength of 60. This comes a day after six newly appointed judges took oath at the High Court.
