Today, the Chhattisgarh High Court has designated eleven advocates as Senior Advocates following the approval of the Full Court in its meeting held on April 28, 2026.

The lawyers who have been conferred the senior gown are:

3. Hamida Siddiqui
4. Yashwant Thakur
5. Anoop Majumdar
6. Neelabh Dubey
7. Amrito Das
8. Mateen Siddiqui
9. Naushina Afrin Ali
10. Arvind Shrivastava
11. Tarendra Kumar Jha

A total of 12 advocates had applied for designation as Senior Advocates. The High Court had issued a notification in February 2026 inviting suggestions and objections regarding the proposed designations. The final notification confirming the senior designations was issued on May 7, 2026.
