The Gujarat High Court on Monday suspended its functioning after the lunch break following a bomb threat received via email.

All lawyers and staff were asked to vacate the premises as security agencies began a thorough search of the court complex. The premises were promptly cordoned off by police, who also initiated an investigation into the source of the threat.

Authorities have placed the High Court on high alert, and security checks are underway to ensure safety.
