Actor Paresh Rawal has broken his silence on the ongoing dispute with actor-producer Akshay Kumar following his exit from the much-anticipated film Hera Pheri 3.

In a recent post on social media, Rawal stated, "My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit. Once they read my response, all issues will be laid to rest.”

According to sources, Rawal has returned the signing amount of ₹11 lakh along with 15% annual interest, and has additionally paid a further sum to formalize his departure from the franchise.

As per the term sheet, Rawal had initially received ₹11 lakh as a signing amount, with his total fee reportedly fixed at ₹15 crore.

The conflict escalated when a lawyer representing Akshay Kumar's production company, Cape of Good Films, warned of “severe legal consequences” in response to Rawal’s exit.

Pooja Tidke, Joint Managing Partner at Parinam Law Associates, which represents Kumar’s banner, stated, “There have been expenses incurred towards the cast, crew, senior actors, logistics, equipment, and the shooting of the trailer.”

Kumar, who is also producing Hera Pheri 3, is reportedly moving forward with legal action in light of Rawal's decision to step away from the project.
