The High Court of Jharkhand has designated 10 advocates as Senior Advocates following the approval of their names at a Full Court meeting held on June 17.

The decision was taken by the Chief Justice along with the other judges of the High Court during the meeting.

The advocates who have been conferred the senior gown are:

• Darshana Poddar Mishra
• Dr Hasnain Waris
• Prashant Pallav
• Amar Kumar Sinha
• Indrani Sen Choudhary
• Amit Kumar Das
• Rajiv Sinha
• Rajendra Krishna
• Kalyan Roy

The designation of Senior Advocate is a recognition bestowed upon lawyers for their standing at the Bar, professional ability, and contribution to the legal profession.
