Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma administered the oath of office to the two newly appointed judges, Girish Kathpalia and Manoj Jain 

The Central government had cleared their appointment on April 27. The Supreme Court Collegium on April 12 recommended the elevation of three judicial officers as judges of the Delhi High Court.

While Kathpalia & Jain's recommendations were cleared by the government, the third recommendation of Dharmesh Sharma is yet to be approved.
