President Droupadi Murmu hosted a dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre on Sunday to welcome the newly appointed Chief Justice of India, Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai.

The event was attended by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law & Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, and former Chief Justice of India Justice Sanjiv Khanna, along with several dignitaries, including judges of the Supreme Court and chief justices of various High Courts.
