The Supreme Court of India has elevated Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Raghavendra P. Shankar to the rank of Senior Advocate.
The decision was made on November 29 by the full court of the Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna.
Shankar, who was appointed as ASG in September 2024, joins the list of Senior Advocates following the court’s designation of 39 lawyers in August this year.
