The Law Advice wishes all its readers "A Very Happy New Year"

Last year was a remarkable year in the Indian Judiciary as well as for "the law advice." The Law Advice started its journey of legal journalism with a commitment to provide fair and unbiased reporting of the latest legal news and developments.

In the last year the Indian Judiciary has given some significant judgments and the new year 2023 is starting with one of its biggest judgments. On 02nd January 2023, the Supreme Court is going to render its 5 judges' bench judgment on "Demonetization."

As the year 2022 witnessed in the history of the Supreme Court, for the second time 3 Chief Justices in the year(Ex-CJI NV Ramanna, EX-CJI UU Lalit, CJI Dr. DY Chandrachud), 2023 will not see any changes on the top chair since the present Chief Justice of India Dr. DYChandrachud is having a long tenure.

But there would be a lot of changes in the Supreme Court. The year would begin with the retirement of Justice S. Abdul Nazeer and end with the retirement of Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul.

The Supreme Court would also see many other finest judges retiring such as Justice KM Joseph, Justice MR Shah, Justice Ajay Rastogi, justice Dinesh Meshwari, Justice Krishna Murari, Justice S. Ravindra Bhat, Justice V. Balasubramanian

The Chief Justice of India is also on a mission mode to digitize the Supreme Court as well as the High Courts and the District Judiciary.

Team The Law Advice wishes a very happy and prosperous new year to all its viewers.
