Senior Advocate and former Advocate General of Rajasthan, Shri Narpat Mal Lodha, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2026, according to a condolence message issued by the family. He was one of Rajasthan’s most respected legal figures and had more than five decades of experience in the legal profession.
Narpat Mal Lodha headed Lodha & Associates and was designated as a Senior Advocate in 2011. He served twice as the Advocate General of Rajasthan — first in 2008 and later from 2013 to 2018. He also held the position of Chairman of the Bar Council of Rajasthan during 2003-04 and 2015-17.

During his distinguished legal career, Lodha also served as Senior Standing Counsel for the Union of India and appeared as counsel for SEBI and SIDBI. Over his 50 years in the legal fraternity, he represented both government and private clients and was associated with several landmark judgments.
Apart from his legal contributions, he was actively associated with various public, charitable and educational institutions, including Narayan Sewa Sansthan, Divya Lok Viklang Sewa Sansthan, RIICO, and several hospital and welfare organizations in Rajasthan.

As per the family notice, his final journey (Antim Yatra) will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM from his residence at 74, Kiran Path, Suraj Nagar West, Civil Lines, Jaipur, and will proceed to Adarsh Nagar Mokshdham, Jaipur.
