Justice R.P. Soni, a highly respected judge of the Rajasthan High Court, passed away last night after suffering a heart attack. He was 60 years old. The sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the legal community, with colleagues and legal professionals mourning the loss of a dedicated jurist.

Justice Soni was appointed to the Rajasthan High Court in 16^th January, 2023, where he earned a reputation for his sharp legal acumen and balanced judgments. He dealt with several high-profile cases, including matters involving constitutional rights, civil disputes, and social justice. His untimely death comes as a great loss to the judiciary and the state.

Justice Soni has also remained the Principal District & Sessions Judge of Dungarpur, Sirohi, Jalore, Udaipur and Kota districts. Justice Soni has also served as Registrar (Admin) of the Rajasthan High Court.

Justice Soni was born to Smt: Parmeshwari and Shri Ramchandra Soni, an eminent Businessman.
