SC Collegium Approves Appointment Of 9 Advocates As Judges Of Jammu & Kashmir And Ladakh High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the appointment of nine Advocates as Judges of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The decision was taken during the Collegium meeting held on October 29, 2026. The Advocates recommended for elevation are:

  1. Vishal Sharma

  2. Vikram Kumar Sharma

  3. Namgyal Wangchuk

  4. Pawan Kumar Kundal

  5. Tahir Majid Shamsi

  6. Tabasum Zafar

  7. Amit Gupta

  8. Pranav Kohli

  9. Anupam Raina
