Shivendra Dwivedi Appointed Additional Advocate General for Himachal Pradesh in SC

The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed Advocate Shivendra Dwivedi as the Additional Advocate General to represent the state before the Supreme Court of India.

With over two decades of legal experience, Dwivedi has a robust practice spanning civil and criminal litigation, commercial disputes, and dispute resolution.

His core areas of expertise include constitutional law, election law, inter-state water disputes, land acquisition cases, and matters involving white-collar crimes under legislations such as the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the Prevention of Corruption Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Dwivedi previously served as Additional Advocate General for the State of Haryana in the Supreme Court and has also been empanelled as a lawyer for the Government of India. His legal counsel has been sought by several public sector undertakings across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums
